met, individual results can be searched for below:

However, as we're only a couple of weekends into the tournament, you might not get a result for him yet.

After missing the Open Championships last year to get his bowling center, Northgate Lanes, which caught fire in January of that year, ready for the state tournament, Carl Henson (48, E. Galesburg, IL) made up for it this year by closing out his singles event with the fourth 300 game of the tournament on Thursday.

Got back from Reno last nite... Posted a 1691 for my first Nationals. What an experience all around! The Lane conditions were, well, challenging. I shot a set of the 1-2-3 at the Grand Sierra and was totally frustrated with what I thought was a [censored] pattern. But, fortunately, that [censored] pattern was what I experienced at the Nationals. Ha-Ha! First set in Teams was a 530, then Doubles the next morning was 610. Switched lanes for Singles and shot 551. High Game for me was 217 in the Doubles. Found success in the Doubles rolling on fresh overnite pattern starting with the No Limit @1K standing 22 and rolling 9 at the arrows until the 3rd game when I switched to the Reign of Fire @1K and stood 24 and rolled 13 at the arrows. I "should" have done the same thing for Singles after switching lanes (hindsight) even though they had games rolled on them, because the pattern was flakey and inconsistent. I could have at least cut my own pattern.

David Werner (30, Rochester, NY) started his singles event on Monday with 11 consecutive strikes before a stubborn 10 pin cost him a place in Open Championships history. He finished out 213 and 258 to move into fourth place in Regular Singles with a 770 series.

Jared Juszczyk (20, Dearborn Heights, MI) credited a timely ball change to a ball he almost didn't bring for rolling the fifth 300 game of the tournament in his singles event on Tuesday night.
