I was going to buy one of the Backlashes but my Pro Shop guy sold me the Ebonite Hardball instead (he would have had to order a Backlash). Funny thing is, this ball may very well be my second or third strongest ball. I like it, but not what I was looking for.

I also need a dry lane ball - something other than plastic. Something that I don't have to play as far left as possible and swing it as far right as possible, and/or throw with a lot of speed. I think the Slingshot may be the answer.

i dont know bout all that about the urethane. i havent tried much but urethane is definitely the only thing, that i have tried, i can half way keep on the lane when the lanes are dry. as for another ball. i hear the morich sahara is designed for dry lanes as it says exactly that on the ball.

Well I decided on the columbia freeze. My driller is treating it with some chemical to calm it down a little, can't remember the name. Didn't realize it has the same cover as the momentum swing (that's pretty strong). Anyhow I'll be throwing it the first time on Sat, and I'll let you guys know what I think.

I have a Power Groove that I just picked up for free from a friend. Fits the bill for a dry lane ball.
