About a month ago I started using Pin Pal Lite on my IPhone to track my bowling stats....It tracks scores, leaves, split conversions, strike, strike percentage, oil patterns, balls, etc.....and on and on........endless amount of stats.

I figured I would use it to see how statistically I am doing in every aspect of the game.

Does anyone else here use similiar programs to help their game?

I know WRWJ uses "Frames" for every game he bowls on his Palm.

I will start uploading my stats beginning tommorrow if anyone wants to check out my last league night and current overall league and or open bowling stats.

My teammate does that, too. It is more common to see bowlers with score sheets, where they go home and enter in some application.

I use bowlsk on the computer, which the creator happens to be cgeorg on this board.

It sounds like it is pretty much the same as what you are using, just not portable on the phone without using the internet.

I use (and run) BowlSK.com. I use it directly on my windows mobile phone (works well on the iPhone and android as well) at the alley. The reason I created it is that there was no other stats tracking app that allowed me to fully capture what I was doing - stance, target, breakpoint, etc. I like that I can go back to a certain game I bowled and see exactly what worked and what didn't.

BowlSK iPhone evangelist here. Perfect for use during league and tournament play provided you're a selfish bowler and don't mind if others on your team consider you a dbag for ignoring their play.

Well worth the cash money donations which I also recommend.

I use Bowlsk on my smartphone. I have the unlimited internet on it. It is a little slow going with the small buttons but it's nice to be able to look back.

Cal, which buttons in particular give you trouble? Do you have a touchscreen?

Nope, no touch screen. The issue is with the phone not the actual page.

I have always used Frames. I haven't checked out cgeorg's thingy. Didn't know about it until this topic. I used Frames until I lost the cord to recharge the palm pilot. Wifey found it so I recharged my palm pilot last night. So I guess I can start tracking my games again. I've always tracked my games but it's much easier to use an application to do it.

Smooth, I have always been interested in Frames, but didn't have the hardware for it. If you happen to check out BowlSK and can let me know what you think of the differences, I'd be very appreciative.
