That's a pretty cool interface, simple and to the point. But looking at something I can just update and sync with my iphone, so I think I'll go with iBowlSpot Strike, which is like $3 or $4 bucks. Thanks for the input though.

I paid for 12 strikes and I don't really like it. I like the bowlsk website but I'd prefer an app like you. I just wish they'd get a Frames app for the iPhone. Frames has always been the best I've ever used on any platform.

Anybody have any bowling apps for their phone that they use? I just purchased My Lane Play and I used it on Wednesday. It's cool.

What are some other ones people tend to use that are of high quality?

I don't have any to recommend, but I would love to hear what you would like to see in a bowling app for a phone. I've been looking for a new project =)

I have my lane play as well, Pretty much Bolwsk. I rarely use it though as I find myself rushed if I try to mess with it during bowling (Just me) That app is great though.

I use score keeper which is basically just a score tracker, it will keep your stats for an entire season show consistency and do some pretty nice charts. I like it because I just dump my scores in between games not all the other info.

Again not knocking bowlsk or My lane play both are really great just not for me. I do use the bowlsk sheets you can print out to track my target hit percentage

I bought 12 strikes a while ago and I don't really like it. It doesn't keep track of your series total. You have to figure it out yourself. It does keep track of some really cool stuff, but not as much as say Frames does. In " 12 Strikes" it keeps track of where your standing and your target. What ball your using and all the useful percentages like strike percentage, spare percentage spare leaves and so forth and so on. I like Bowlsk but I would rather have an app than use a website while I bowl. One other problem with " 12 Strikes" is you need to keep hitting the next button to go to the next frame. It won't do it automatically. I still like Frames the best. They should really make a Frames for the iPhone.

I use pin pal for iPhone, it's very quick to use between frames. It allows you to track strikes, spares leaves etc. Although it doesn't keep track of target etc as twelve strikes does, I found it much easier to use.

I don't have a smartphone (my bit of portable computing power is a netbook), but I will say this about BowlSK: it's easy to share what and how you're doing on the lanes with anyone...just copy the URLs to your sheets and paste anywhere you need them (email, forums, Facebook, blogs, even IRC and instant messaging). I know my new bowling life wouldn't be the same without it. laugh

Who knows how long this will last, but you can currently get BowlSheet for the iPhone/iPad for free!

I had it on my iTunes wishlist for awhile. I think it was $14.99 before. I haven't had a chance to try out yet but thought it was still worth a mention here as it's free now and who knows for how long. So head over to iTunes and grab it before he raises the price!
