I found a nice chart as follows on another site a couple years back which I've always used as a guide when using 3M pads for resurfacing:

SCOTCHBRITE GRIT CHART
3M Scotch Brite Nylon Pads:
7445 - White pad, called Light Duty Cleansing - (1000) 1200-1500 grit
7448 - Light Grey, called Ultra Fine Hand - (600-800) 800 grit.
6448 - Green (?), called Light Duty Hand Pad - (600) 600 grit
7447 - Maroon pad, called General Purpose Hand - (320-400) 320 grit
6444 - Brown pad, called Extra Duty Hand - (280-320) 240 grit
7446 - Dark Grey pad, called Blending Pad (180-220) 150 grit
7440 - Tan pad, called Heavy Duty Hand Pad - (120-150) 60(?)
Blue Scotch-Brite is considered to be about 1000 grit.
(The value inside the parentheses is directly from 3M.)
3M Chart
Less Aggressive --------> More Aggressive
7445 7448 6448 7447 6444 7446 7440
Finer Finish --------> Coarser Finish

Who's That, I had them both. They were virtually identical. If my driller didn't make a mistake on the Resurrection, I'd have doubles in balls. Fortunately for me, he took the Resurrection back and I now have the Widow Maker.

I know a few bowlers who bought the Resurrection, and have not drilled it yet. They are just waiting for the time when their 6-7 year old Terminators start to fail. Knowing this ball, it may be a while . My 5 y/o 15# Terminator is super. And, my 6 y/o 16# Terminator is rolling strong in the hands of another.

Well, no longer perfect on getting 600 series with my Black Diamond. I was 4-4. I'm 4-5 now because last night I bowled 716 (my first 7)! I went X6/XXXXXXX pocket 7-10 in my first ball in the 10th in the first game for 244. Then I went XXXXXXX9/XXXX for 279 in the second game. Then, after a XX9/X start in the last game, I went to the soda machine. In the 5th I stuck and fouled on my first ball...came back from the shot, checked the bottom of my shoe and there was a small piece of candy stuck to it frown. I struggled a bit after that but pulled it together a bit and shot 193 in the last game. I needed a mark in the 10th to get the 7. I struck out!

I'm averaging 216 after 5 league series with this ball. Before I was averaging 196. I realize I'm probably hot right now, but I think it's realistic that I can average 205 for the rest of the season! So happy with my L/M purchase.

Get a shoe cover, and any time you are out of the settee area put it on your slide foot. That would keep these types of incidents from happening unless you step in a huge puddle of liquid, like a rain puddle. I know a few bowlers that if they aren't on the approach the cover is on. I will do the same thing at times, but it can get a little tedious. Just make sure you take it off before you bowl, or you will fall for sure. I've seen it happen, but if you look down at your foot to make sure it is set correctly you should notice the cover is still on.

Aside from that nice bowling.
