One thing not related to your video, when you talk about starting point use your left big toe as the reference that way you can check your finish point and see if you drifted at all.

The one thing that might be an issue is you sort of pop up at the line before you release the ball instead of staying at an even height.

Wes Malott shows doing this really well:

thanks on the note of the starting point never thought of that.

tonight I tried a bunch of different things bit more free/high back swing about even with my shoulder/head but I believe it messed with my timing.

I tried starting further back to compensate but after watching video my slide foot is ahead of the ball by about half a step it seems

the glaringly bad thing I noticed was I come around the ball way too soon how can I fix this? I start rotating at the bottom of my swing before I release and get very little rotation on the ball.

I did bowl a new personal best 208 shattering my last PB of 179.

It would be best if you could post a new video of your updated swing, if you can get straight behind and one from the side it would be the most useful. Try to get your full body in the shot too. I know it's hard when the lanes are full.

I have a video but not sure how useful it is my buddy titled the camera vertical...I'll upload it for now but tomorrow I plan on going to the lanes by myself early and video from the back fully and side.

Sorry I'll have better stuff tomorrow

things I see wrong

drifting quite a bit?

lifting the ball slightly up on my push off

coming around the ball way to early, how do I fix this?

not enough knee bend

lack of follow through/popping up

I'm sure there is a ton more wrong lol but this is what I see/know of myself.

Yeah, you aren't staying behind or under it now and coming over the top.

One thing you can try is to think palm up on the follow through, still want your fingers to get to the 45* position, but roll the ball off of your fingers instead of wrapping your fingers over the ball.

TJ demonstrates what I'm talking about about as well as anyone:

better videos...this is also after opening my thumb up quite a bit and 2 sizes bigger finger inserts, as well as a wrist brace....lots changed

ball sped is up quite a bit at the arrows if I did it right its 20.2 mph and at the end of the lanes where the radar is like 19.8 or around there.

thanks

I need a shot from the side too.

From what I can see it looks like you need to work on using your legs more and get lower going into the slide. Bend your right knee more going into the slide and sit down into it.
