Are you normally that fast to the line or trying to speed up because of the dry conditions?

Strong release. Your slide step drifts about 10 boards right at the end. You're stiff-legged and sideways at the foul line. You have a lot of potential... I would recommend that you slow down a bit, try to be straight and solid at the line with a good, strong knee bend. If you're bowling on dry lanes, practice with your spare ball... instead of forcing your reactive stuff, that's a sure way to develop bad habits.

I see you have football timing, and keep your balance at the line.

Why is the first of 4 steps a crossover step? That seems odd to me, not that it matters any.

For dry lanes I use a really old ball. For extremely dry lanes, I can hook my plastic into the pocket (and throwing it straight it hooks 5-10 boards). Oddly enough, it seems that bowling on dry wood lanes during the summer has focused me on control and improved that part of my game.

Sorry. I'm just an old bobble-head. Of course, every step with your ball-side leg should cross over. I'm just used to doing it on the second step of a 5-step approach, so it looked odd.

BTW - I like to check my form without a ball, looking in a full-length mirror, practicing the pushaway/drop/backswing and watching as my right leg moves out of the way of the ball. This helps to achieve a good swing plane, which, btw, you seem to have.

The main problem I see you have is that you don't stay down through the release, you are popping up at the line. Popping up at the line makes the ball hook before it gets to the break point. Staying down will help project the ball down lane and delay burning energy to the back end where you want it.

To help stay down you may need to slow down a little to where you feel you can stay in a stable position, then gradually increase the speed to where you can maintain that stable position at the line.

The major problem I see on that photo is that your shoulders are facing the left gutter and the ball is still in your hand! You need to have those shoulders open. I guarantee that shot was pulled well left...unless you dropped the ball.
