96 of the best bowlers in Canada 60 men and 36 women will compete for the right to wear Team Canada colors in 2011 in the 2010 Canadian National Championships. Competition will take place over four days at Rev's Bowling and Entertainment Center in Burnaby, British Columbia.

They were going to bowl on new AMF synthetics and almost brand-new pins at another house until they canceled (I believe I've mentioned that in another thread). Revs is a 48-lane all-wood house about 30 minutes from me. It seems that no matter how much oil they put on those ancient wood lanes, the ball starts hooking before it hits the arrows. I can't wait to go watch and see how those guys play the lanes. I'll see if I can take some pictures, too, and post them up here.

Just secured a volunteer position doing scorekeeping. And found out that quite a few local youth bowlers are bowling in it. Can't wait!

Sounds like a good time, beefers -- looking forward to hearing more about it. smile

Damn, just found out that George Lambert IV withdrew. Was really looking forward to seeing him. Oh well.
