Went to the lanes early, 9 a m. Just wanted to get a few games in to work on something. Seems, I have been drifting to the ball side, and even though I hit my mark, the angle is wrong, and I cross onto the head. So, my practice was to watch where I slide and when I drift, find out why.

Rolled 200-214-247 while keeping my approach as straight as possible.

I shot 7 games of practice. I'd say I avg'd 170, just [censored] around with new stuff. My last game I just concentrated on opening and closing the shoulder and it worked well. I shot 214 with 6 strikes all told (should have made more spares). My TS still hooks away from my 7 pin, even with the wrist broken back.....gotta get plastic;)

Better swing, more accuracy, and more spares.
A 200 avg. before summer.

Bad tonight, 173,179,182... All over place, missed easy spares. Very frustrating... Felt that I couldn't find my rhythm tonight.
9 open frames in 3 games, killed me...

Hey Jack, I break my wrist back, takes a bit of practise, but my improvement on the 7 pin (I;m leftie), or 10 pin for righties, has improved a lot... Go for it, but yes, grab a plastic..

Another poor scoring practice session yesterday. Can't even remember the exact scores, except in eight games I only broke 200 once. Funny thing is I wasn't rolling the ball that bad. Had one game where I struck every other frame, even though I was only playing on one lane. - never did that before.

Found out afterwards the lanes hadn't been oiled for three days, so I felt a bit better about the scoring. There was a lot of carry down oil, but it was also real inconsistent. It was very hard to get the ball to react at the backend, even slowing down a lot. I had to have the speed and accuracy just right.

If anything, I guess it was good practice on my timing.

had a terrible night. pba lanes are tough. i will not put these scores into my 2010 avg. Tonight that had the scorpion and viper patterns down in the lane. it was my first time bowling on something other than a house pattern. my scores were 156 159 176 163 189 143. i only bowled on viper pattern.

sidenote: i always wondered how the pros bowl 18-22 mph and get their ball to hook. tonight i understand how...lol

Past few weeks, I haven't been bowling well. I was later realizing that I was looking at my target, but about a second before release, I look about 5 boards left. Therefore, my shot would be about 5 boards left of my original mark. I made sure I looked at my mark. Shot a 650 series. Can't remember my scores, but I do know they were all over 200+. It's our last day of our league and luckily held my average at 202, qualifying for a 205 & under No Tap.
