212-193-158, 563 series. Totally lost it the last game. First I was diving into the head pin, then I just couldn't hit my mark period. Left a 3-10 in the tenth again, and missed it again (did the exact same thing last week). Needed two strikes in the tenth to win that final game. Big time choke again cry

Next week is the roll-off, so hopefully I can get it together by then.

184 for last game. Had two nasty splits after two strikes to start. Still take it though

I threw 5 games of practice. 184, 184, 181, 170, and 192. I wanted to work on learning to open and close the shoulder. I didn't find out till the 5th game I was trying to keep it too tight so I moved right(lefty) and stood 34 and shot over 14 at the arrows. Ball peaked at 7. I wound up with 5 in a row, but the rest were splits or opens. I think I hit the wall;)

5 games is more than I've been doing, so I'll take what I learned into Friday's league and see what happens:)

Bowled yesterday for the first time in a week. 5 games of practice. Lost some timing which caused me to lose my balance and that also caused me to leave 5s,7s,or 10s. Then I started to muscle my back swing and started to pull the ball. It went downhill from there. My high game was an incredible 175!!!

Managed to shoot a 603 (226, 234, 146). Got drunk 3rd game. Even though our league only allows beer frames (free round on the house if the whole team strikes on the same frame) on the 1st game, we made a rule that if anyone gets stuck that they would buy the round for the rest of the team. Someone already owed from last week, so they bought a round already. Basically everyone got stuck, except for me, so I was on everyone's sights. Even with my bad 3rd game, nobody managed to stick me. Also one of my teammates parents stopped by and also bought a round for everyone. laugh Unfortunately, No beers for me, only double Bacardi 8 & Coke.

BTW, it was also the 1st night I rolled my Hammer Black Widow Nasty. I bought it at a deal from someone on another forum. It was drilled with the pin under, so I had it plugged/re-drilled for pin over (skid/flip). I also resurfaced it using Storm's method starting at 360, 500, then straight to 4000.

Bowled 4 1/2 practice games today. Didn't track score but did track my pocket hits. Managed to hit the pocket on all but 5 shots in those 4 1/2 games but left a LOT of 7's and 10's. Overall I'm pleased with the practice session as I'm getting much more consistent getting to the pocket (especially in a house that has been a nightmare for me) and got plenty of practice shooting my spares.
