Im looking to replace a bowling ball in my bag.
I have a Showtime Pearl, its pretty much worn out. not as forgiving as id like it to be. im just wondering if there are any suggestions to balls around that, that i can get to hook on drier conditions then the Virtual Energy? just balls you like in a good price range.

The Virtual Energy is a pretty strong ball. If your just looking for a step down from the VE then a Reign would be a step down from the VE. A Fast would also be a step down from the Virtual Energy. You could find a ball from every company that would be a step down from the Virtual Energy. But since I like Storm, I'm going to recommend Storm balls.

The Hammer Burn is also a good choice.

Last year? Not pretty. No high scores worth posting from 15-16. But good times ahead. smile

Is the Hammer Jacked really strong?

Does anyone have any info on a pin slasher/lane breaker?

I would drop to a to a Reign or Hyroad, the Fast works good an really dry synthetic lanes or medium wood lanes. I'm some where between a stroker/tweener. Hope it gives you another opinion.

Take it from a guy who normally uses high end balls. I've had the Hammer BW Pearl, 2*Hammer BW Venom, & a Hammer BW Bite. I purchased the Jacked around December and I was VERY surprised how strong it is.

I think the Fast would be a great choice. Its the lower end medium/dry lane condition ball in the Storm lines. I think it would be a great step down from the Virtual Energy.

You could also look at the Roto-Grip Dark Star as well, that ball is supposed to be a step under the Nomad Series (roughly the same as the Fast) so it might be a good option.
