Ok people, I don't mean to brag here or anything... but I can't believe I just took third place in intermediate boys at the provincial championship!!!!

It was even tougher than yesterday (though the shot was 38 feet, not 42 feet as originally stated), and that was definitely reflected through lower scores all across the board. I bowled 1326 over 8 games for a 165.75 average, and only 14 pins behind the silver medalist. The winner, who will represent the province in the national championships, bowled in the mid-1400's for a ~180 average.

After a year and a half of practicing and grinding and coming up empty, I finally have something to show for it.

Excellent job! I had a feeling something very positive was going to happen for you on the lanes soon, 200s or no.

Thanks guys.

Mike, my high game today was a 192 (twice). So, no 200's (though I bowled a 208 in qualifying yesterday which got me into the cut) but can't argue with the results.

Thanks guys! Definitely looking forward to it next year, even if the competition in Ontario is much more intense.
