(I posted this once already, but my post disappeared into the ether.)
It was humid at my bowling center yesterday. I didn't have problems with the thumb hole, but my sliding
shoe was hanging up on the approach. It completely messed me up most of the day. At one point I did a face-plant on the oily lane when my body wanted to go forward but my left foot didn't.
I have
Dexter shoes with changeable soles, so I switched to a "slidier" one, but that felt like I was slipping on a banana peel, so I went back.
It never felt right all day, although I got used to it somewhat by the time I finished bowling.
