Man Guns you sure get the ball good and close to your slide ankle! - I just don't know what my problem is. You have an interesting rhythm; Short (1st step), normal (2nd step), shortest (3rd step), longer (4th step), longest (5th slide). I couldn't tell you the good, bad, or ugly on it. I would just kill to have your ball location and wrist position at my release.

What pitches do you use on your thumb?

I won't pick you apart, I think you have a nice swing there.

i see so many things right with this form. You seem to get a lot of power to the ball at the release, with a good balance arm and good slide. My guess is that you frequently get 6-baggers and probably average 210-230.

maybe one of the coaches can find something to improve, but not me. I think the short third step, for whatever reason, works with the rhythm of your swing. I also like the way you lean forward on 3rd and 4th steps, then straighten up on the slide step, giving extra power to the release.

This looks a lot better than what you were posting a couple years ago. On the few that didn't come back, it looked like you tried to slow the swing down at the release point. Could have been a fit/grab issue, not sure. All-in-all, great work.

I agree, you look fluid, smooth, clean, and whatever other adjective you would like to use that matches up with those. You are very nice to the ball at release, yet you still are able to get some hand in it. I really like how you are swinging now and I don't think I would change too much.

Keep up the good work!

I will say I have come a long way since I have started 3.5 years ago and even since I got back from my car accident last year. Nice to see learning and implementing the proper fundamentals is paying off. Still got work to do though.

I will say the only thing I noticed was during one of the slow motion shots. If you watch your hand as the ball exits through the release at 1:45 you will notice that for a split second your hand is actually turned around. Your palm looks to be facing the floor and the back of your hand is facing you.

Might be nothing, just thought I would point it out.

Looks like your swing is a little slow at the release point . Watch this video.
