There is another vid posted on here of him picked up the 7-10 at the US Open. I finding it interesting that he hits the 10 on the left side in both instead of the right. I may have to try that.

You can also shoot at the 7 pin using your strike ball, it hits the pins harder than a spare ball. I have made the 7-10 5 times, 4 the way Voss did it, and one time shooting the 7 hitting it square into the corner and having the pin bounce back and roll up and across to take out the ten.

I have had this happen many times shooting the 7 by itself, more times than the 10 bouncing out and rolling across when shooting the 10 and I left many more 10s than 7s. I noticed the 7 rolling across the deck more often when using my strike ball and throwing it hard and straight, but still getting good finger pressure, even pressure with both fingers.

That is what I was talking about in another thread. I think I have once a week my standard shot at the 10 or the 7 across 20 kicks the pin up on the deck. The trick is to have that lucky event happen when both pins are there.

If that wasn't cool enough he then went on to win the tournament as the number 5 seed which rarely happens.

It was great to see Voss win on Sunday. And it will be nice to see him back on tour next year with his exemption. He really wanted it, and great to see his efforts pay off.

Speaking of this, why is it that the male within the doubles team gains an exemption but the female does not? I found that rather odd. I mean Asbaty scored better than Voss throughout the show, I think that she should either get an exemption for the title or neither of them should get one.

Just found it a little weird and thought I would bring it up.
