Actually, besides the fact that 2009 was the warmest year ever on record globally, even if not locally, GCC theory predicts strong anomalous weather systems. I'd say 2, and potentially 3, huge snow storms in the DC area IS evidence of global warming.
Latest watch statement for DC says probably more than 10 inches in the next couple days. I can't wait.

They keep [censored] up the totals here too. First it was 3"-4" inches, then 6"-10" now 7"-11". Its going to be great fun Wed. morning. Maybe the weatherman will blow it and we'll get an inch. They have done that before....maybe...maybe...

I have my own beliefs that the weather runs in a cyclical pattern, going on a continuous curve similar to that of SIN/COS. There is evidence of "rain forest" type weather patterns across the globe based on historical and archeological findings. We have also had ice ages that freeze the entire globe. In another 5000 years people will probably be complaining that the Earth is going to go into Global Cooling .

OK, the snow has started about 3 hours ago. Getting 1" per hour now. Forecast is 8-10" by tomorrow. Airlines are already shutting down. 200 in/out flights have been cancelled for this afternoon. All of Southwest Airlines will be halted from noon today to noon tomorrow.

No snow here yet, should be starting soon. We're slated for 8" through Weds morning. Then, it is supposed to lay off for a day, and start back up for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Happy V-Day.
