Hey everyone,
My last Mutant
Cell was junk, and I believe it was because I had too strong a layout and not enough oil on the lanes, causing the ball to burn up all its energy before reaching the pins. I wanted the ball to do what it was advertised to do: A slightly longer
Cell with better back-end continuation.
I used a dual-angle layout: 45* x 4 1/4" x 20
What I ended up with was a ball that would start to hook in the mid-lane, and then quickly burn up and roll-out in the last twenty feet. The only way I could get it snap harder in the backend was to put a ton of side-roll on the ball.
I am a lefty with a rev-rate of around 300, and I throw between 16-17 mph. Can anyone give me feedback on a different layout? I'm no expert and it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Schmidty
