Hey there, long time lurker here, first time really posting anything. I've been bowling for almost a year (in may) and I love it. It's absolutely taken over my life. I started with a Hammer Hot Sauce, added a Jigsaw, and now I bowl permanently with the Black Widow Nasty. The Hot Sauce and Jigsaw had improper spans and the Nasty is perfect, first two drilled by the same person, then a different Pro Shop with the Nasty, which I will return to for my future drills.

I started out 2 finger bowling and switched to three finger about 8 months ago. My average has gone up from about 130 to 170+ or so now, depending on which league (yes I bowl multiple leagues as well, I'm addicted). My wife bought me the Nasty for Christmas and I've been absolutely bowling my butt off with it. I hit my highest game with it, and beat it, about 4 times now and it's currently 267. I manage to shoot 200+ for atleast 2 of the 3 games sometimes all 3. It's been great!

Now that that's all done with, I do need a plastic ball for that pesky 10 pin. I've been able to go without it for a while, but I'm just unable to pick it up with the balls I have now, unless I get lucky. Any other leave is fine, I'm just so inconsistent with that 10!

So here's my question, would a Columbia white dot ($50) suffice, or would it be wise to pick up something a little more polished like a viz-a-ball?

Thanks in advance!

A White Dot would do just fine. The Viz-a-Balls don't do anything better than the White Dot's do, they're just more aesthetically pleasing (and twice as expensive) frown

the vis a balls might end up hooking a little if you don't regularly polish them or so i've heard.

The white dot would be a very good choice

Thanks, what about the Brunswick tzones? Probably same as the white dots I would think since they're polished. But I think I will go with a white dot though.

I have a groove urethane the dark blue, it doesn't hook at all, and doesn't seem to Track up like plastic balls do. I did have a T-zone but it tracked up after a short time and started hooking.
