There used to be the Cajun Chef on TV. Can't remember his name. But, he made it once and with the ham bone, he used smoked sausage, potatoes, carrots, celery and onions too. Tried it, not bad at all. Paul Preudhomme of K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen in New Orleans? (One of my favorite restaurants in the world) And thank you, Dennis, for reminding us in a subtle way that hambones belong in the kitchen.

Let's see here, this morning I went to church, then came home and watched bowling, then went bowling. After that I had to watch my cowboys play a humiliating game. Now I am hoping the colts will lose to the pats because I can't stand the colts.

I think Vancouver is an Indian word for "Land of the big white sky where the rain falls gently on the soft green Earth". Maybe not... beefers1 can correct me if I'm wrong. I've always thought that the Vancouvers (and Vancouver Island) was named after George Vancouver, the explorer. But maybe I'm wrong. BTW, that Indian definition you gave me is awfully lengthy for one word LOL.

Also Justin Wilson. I used to love to hear him say "onion".

Yeah, it was Justin Wilson. He had this huge pot on an outdoor grill, boiling away. As he put more and more ingredients into it. Finished it with an on-yun or 2.

Well this work week ended like most others with the exception of my desktop crashing and apparently non recoverable unless I reformat. Geek Squad has given me the run around all week. Hopefully they were able to save my data. I ran out to Frys on Friday and bought a refurbished "new" HP for $369. Seems to be working fine. But I have to take it in today so they load my old data files onto it. They are going to be disappointed I didn't buy my next computer from them, but oh well. Worked our association's BVL tournament this weekend. BVL = Bowlers to Veterans Link. The main charity of the USBC. Was kind of tossed into the check in chair for the walk ins, what a nightmare. Second squad was much easier. But got everyone onto lanes and most had a great time bowling and supporting BVL. We raffled off a MoRich bowling ball and bag. One of our youth directors bowled 702 scratch with his 183 average. He'll be getting some scholarship money. One older gentleman pulled me aside as I was watching the lanes..."why'd you put me with two grumps?" LOL I apologized and told him it wasn't intentional I didn't know they were going to bowl bad and be a poor sport about it. LOL Even one of the grumps won the 50/50 raffle! House was high scoring and though no honor awards that I know of, people were having fun. Then we had a 90 min. associaton directors meeting. Frozen pizza that night after a very long day. Erin

Now I am hoping the colts will lose to the pats because I can't stand the colts. Colts win, Colts win, Colts win........LOL Go Peyton What a game!!! Tons of upsets this weekend, though we didn't get to see them due to BVL. But I lost too many to be considered "in the running" for the weekly pool At least Colts won. Erin

[Colts win, Colts win, Colts win Sheesh!!! At 4:30 I told my wife there's no way they'd get one touchdown, let alone two in the time remaining. Just shows I'm not always right.
