You are just not finding the right angle to the pocket. If you are consistently hitting your mark and hitting light, Make a 2/1 move with your feet and target to narrow it in.

Other things could be factors also. Like too much speed or your ball not finishing. You need to give us more info if those are the problems.

Im not very good with the board count...i mean i know where i stand and where i throw but i think...i line my feet @ the 21 board(1 board left of center arrow) i will attempt to move right(1/2 a board at a time) but if i line up @ the 19 to narrow my shot i brooklyn it and my mark is the 3rd arrow from the right which i think is the 15 board. As for speed my husband says im speed dominate my ball goes faster than alot of woman ive seen but no where near the speed of the guys...when i slow my ball down i lose revs and when i try to increase the revs i speed up the ball too i cant seem to control the 2 separate but my 2nd ball is amazing compared to my 1st...im wondering if it might help to change the surface of my ball or if it matters

Sorry, I may have confused you. The 2/1 I referred to is to move 2 boards with your feet in the direction you are light. And, 1 board with your target at the arrows in the same direction. So, if you target 10 at the arrows, move to 9 board.

Always move feet with target to gain the right angle.

Another thing. Always spot your sliding foot when setting up. Then check where that foot ends when sliding. That will tell you if you have drifted in your approach. So, if you start at 21 board, does your slide end at 21?

Many people are more relaxed on the second ball because they are trying to "fit" or "steer" their first ball. It is quite often that I hear, "throw your second ball first". Just relax on both shots.

Are you hooking the ball? If so I have a feeling you aren't playing the lanes right. It sounds like you are throwing straight down the third arrow and the ball doesn't hook enough when you stand on 21 and when you stand on 19 you've changed the angle and it hooks across the head pin.

If this is the case then move right(assuming you are a right hander). Try lining up where you throw the ball up the second arrow. So move 4 or five boards right all together.

Ah ok...yea i did miss understand..lol..if i try to throw a little outside i cant seem to get it to come back..and it doesnt seem to matter how many revs i have on the ball...i did notice my 2nd ball is better so ive tried to throw my 2nd ball 1st but that doesnt seem to work to well ill end up leavin like two pins on the left side usually the 4 & something else and then the 10 pin and i cant pick it up. i did notice my ball isnt as aggressive as when i 1st got it and i have improved greatly since ive got it also(im talkin i had a 107 average and i now carry a 120 average) im having my husband give it a hot water bath but im wondering if i take it from 2000 to 1000 if it will help me...oh and i do hook the ball and i throw a Roto Grip Cell if that matters

The purpose of moving to the right is to create a better angle to the pocket. Light hits should become stronger with the move. If you have sufficient revs, light hits are actually good as they could splash the pins for more deck pin action.

Remember, the axis of your ball roll will dictate what success you may have. Look at your ball roll, and think of a bike front tire. Does your ball roll as if the bike tire went straight? Or does it roll as if your bike tire was turned to the left a little.

It's the turned axis you want to achieve.

i have low rev compared to speed i guess from what ive been told but i get very little pin action its like it never hits the pins all that hard so im wondering if im just not catching backend enough it kinda just slides...ill post a new video next time i bowl cuz it seems to help me and it will prob be alot easier to see what im doing wrong.

I think there can be alot of factors in this. A video would be great. What weight is your ball? Just curious
