I practiced today for 3 games. I wasn't up to it and the lanes had little oil. I got nothing when I moved inside except 5-6-10's and 5-10's. Outside was 7's or 10's or 6-10's(Lefty). Same pair I shot on Friday night. Big difference in the shot;)
I did get some practice on release and timing though, so I can't complain. I seem to get better reaction staying under and turning, though I can't turn very much.

Last night 223,186,199..... 608 series, so I'm happy enough with that. Opens were splits, but did miss one easy spare, no excuses for that one..
Bowling tonight, see how I go..

3 games of practice. My style is starting to come around. I'm staying upright about 50% of my shots and I'm finding myself balanced between the sliding foot and trailing leg. Another thing that's happened is that I'm relearning to stay under the ball and just come through it instead of trying to turn it. It's giving me actual skid through the heads and mid-lane and snap on the back-end. I was able to use a reactive(particle- Raging Inferno)today. I've never seen the ball work like that. It was always loopy. today it went dead straight along the intended line and made a 90 degree turn at the break-point.I'm happy with the progress.

Vini, when I practice on Sunday mornings, I will bowl 8-10 games because I have the time. But usually, I will only allocate an hour or so. And, that is enough for about 3 games. That is what most will do, as that equates to a league setting of 3 games.
Also, when practicing, I practice with a purpose to learn something or correct a problem. So, I usually turn the scorer off. The scores really don't mean anything, as I may shoot a 10 pin first, and try to pick up the rest on the second ball.
A lot of what you see here is bowling for fun, and some are league scores.

I bowled on the 44 foot European Open pattern yesterday. Found a couple of decent lines on it with my Mutant Cell, everything else had to much push to it. The best line for me was standing on 29 looking 15 getting the ball out to 11 at the break. The pattern had some skate room right of 11 so if you missed it or pushed it through the break point it would take three off the right. Missing inside at the breakpoint the ball was through the face so it was a pretty difficult shot. I was told it is sport compliant. The second line I found that worked well was standing on 12 going up 5. This would go long but was really snappy and would mostly clear out the 7 pin on good shots. Because of the increase of entry angle leaving either the 7 or 9 pin seemed common.

Usually when I go to practice I play 8-10 games. I am doing too much ? I do the same, but as Dennis says, he would not consider that practice. I do that twice a week nowadays since I have no job. I work on my releases. Probably tried 18, now have about 7 in my repertoire. And 3 others that I haven't conquered yet. So far, I've raised my average fro 170 to .... well, 170. But I feel a big breakthrough coming on any day now... The last 6 months I've started using stuff I found in this forum. I kind of agree with Dennis that you should practice one thing at each session, but I don't.
