I finally bought my first spare ball. Bought it right before our city league tournament and only go to practice with it during the 10 minute practice before team bowling. I have to say it was well worth the investment. I got tapped all tournament but was able to get all but one 10 pin spare. Even picked up the 6-7-10.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the spare ball I wanted. I wanted a 15lb but they didn't have any so I got a 14lb Maxim. Since I'm only going to be throwing it at small spares I wasn't worried about the weight so much.

This is turning into a long post, but I haven't posted much in a while so I'll keep going.
I have a Hammer Vicious that I had redrilled to hook earlier which killed my spare conversion with it so the spare ball was the best way to go and I wish I would of bought one when I first started bowling.
