He just bought a columbia 300 cool noize on the recommendation of the Pro Shop guy that watched him bowl roughly half a game and the ball is too aggressive for him and he has a hard time controlling it. Any suggestions as to a ball thats a little weaker then that one? His old ball is a Ebonite Tidal Wave.

Is he having trouble controlling it because of the weight or the hook? Is it coming up short, crossing over, blowing through the nose. Stroker, Cranker, Tweener? Just need a little more info so you can get a better recommendation. How old is he? More info the better smile

The hook, it's too aggressive. He usually goes through the nose and when I have him move left it doesnt seem to help. I'm not sure what his style is as I've never really understood those terms sorry. He is in his mid-40's and I can't tell you how heavy a ball he throws. If I had to guess I'd say 14 or 15. Is this more helpful?

when you move him left, you also have to move his target left as well.

I do have him do that. Still doesn't seem to help that much. You would think it would as there should be more oil in the middle but I don't know. Maybe he doesn't hit the mark when he moves left. Either way he needs a ball that is less aggressive hook wise.
