Alright guys fire away! The first ball you see is me trying to play way inside, I usually don't do that. The rest of the balls are my normal form I bowl. I have never seen myself on video before tonight.

A few things. When you set up, you step to the right without looking. Make sure you know where you're standing each shot. You should also use your right foot to mark your spot since that's the foot you slide with. The other thing is your swing, it's all muscle. Push the ball straight out and let the weight of the ball drop your arm into the swing. Then your follow through; you pull it to the inside like you don't trust the ball or something, try extending your arm out towards the pins.

These are just the things that stood out to me, and the suggestions are just that. I'm not a coach but those are the things I would have you do based on what I've learned.

your follow through is not going straight up, whenever the ball hangs a tad on your thumb you will probably miss your mark to the inside.

you could have a stronger throw by keeping your wrist cupped a bit longer, you uncup it way before the ankle as far as i can see (i know it's not simple i can't get it done either)

Your push away is very controlled, it almost comes to a stop, then you pull the ball back and then force it forward, you need to learn to let the ball swing.

I would suggest getting your grip checked because controlling the swing the way you do is a sign that you are having to squeeze the ball to the point where your entire arm stiffens up to the shoulder which causes you to have to catch the ball after the ball drops into the swing.

Agreed. I also notice the step to the right and although I don't do it, as long as your little adjustment is the same every time it shouldn't be a huge problem.

If you think it wouldn't be to much of an issue to remove the extra step to the right after you line up, I would remove it. The less things that you have to do exactly the same the better.

I always do that step to the right. Why I find my mark with my left foot I don't know. Once I got the good shoes with just the sliding sole, I noticed that was a bit odd....That is in my mind. I like to point to the left just a tad because I have had a problem with pulling the ball pretty bad so I find my mark with my left foot, It's not bad now. I guess it's just one of those odd things a bowler does. I tried it with my right foot once and just didn't feel right. As far as squeezing goes, I just got that new ball about 8 months ago and had the pitch redone so I don't squeeze. It feels like I don't squeeze. I trust the ball if I get it to the outside with the right amount of speed. I had just came off of a tourney on sunday where everything with my form was off because of the lane conditions and I still didn't feel right in this video. Once I get comfortable in my form again, I may try and upload another video. Thanks for the input guys!

I also think that step to the right revolves around me finding my mark with my left foot. I will definately focus on that next time I bowl. Thanks again guys.
