Im a stroker, and I was wondering if my arms suppose to be bent or straight? I tried you tube but its hard to tell from the back.

After the pushaway, your arm should become straight and remain so until after the ball has left your hand. Nothing in bowling is mandatory, however. It's just what the best bowlers do, and the rest of us imitate them....

A bent arm will cause you to muscle the ball in the swing. You don't want to do that. Keep your arm straight throughout the swing.

Two of the greatest players of all time actually had a bent-elbow style during their swing -- Don Carter and Earl Anthony. They were anomalies, though. For the vast majority of us, it's gotta be straight.

Thanks guys I will try it tomorrow. Ive been watching mike scroggins on you tube, and his arms are pretty straight through out the whole swing.
