I was reading the USBC youth magazine and it talked about getting into bowling camps that colleges hold. I live in Tennessee and was wondering if I could get some help finding colleges around here that hold bowling camps over the summer, here and in Kentucky, and possibly any other states that are close to Tennessee. Thanks for anyone that can help. Very much appreciated.

If Vincennes University has one, that may be close to you. Even though it is a Jr. college, they have always had a great bowling program there.

yeah, well i mean they are stay over type deals. Kegel is the best. Very expensive, but very worth it. You get like 5 days of Kegel Training, Lunch, 2 Balls, and a lifetime worth of coaching

I have went to the Wichita State Shocker Bowling Camp the past 3 years, and I have really enjoyed it and it is a unique experience.. and, of course the best college bowling camp !!

I agree that Vincennes and Kegel would be great choices. You might consider getting coaches to come to your area for a camp. If you get enough people together, any of the major bowling coaches will come to you.

Specifically, I now that Gold Coach Susie Minshew from Texas arranges such clinics, as does Kegel Training Center, as does Bill Hall, Norm Duke, Brian Voss and Mike Machuga from Next Level Bowling.

Getting a camp to come to you might be more economical than traveling if you can get others interested.
