Woke up this morning to 9-12 inches of snow on the ground, with another 9-12 inches on the way. This "snow-nami" is likely to be a record breaker for the DC/MD/VA area.

It's an understatement to say I don't suppose my league will be bowling tonight. Nor, do I expect the roads to be cleared in time to make it to the doubles tournament I was planning to go to early Sunday morning. Bummed about that, but the extra time at home will give me a chance to catch up on plugging and redrilling some balls that have been sitting on my bench for a while.

Saw that on the weather reports. Hope your roof can handle the extra load of snow. That is usually the major problem. That stuff is wet and heavy.

Times like this make me wish I had a lane in the basement.

I'm with you Joe, I'm sure my league will be canceled for tonight as well. Just looked out at the bed of my truck and I have a good 8 inches out there. I do got it locked into 4wd already in case I do have to go somewhere. Probably should shovel the walk ways some so I don't have to do it all at once.

Were getting pumbled in South Jerseys as well. There expecting record breaking snow fall, which isn't good considering the current record is just short of two feet!

Looks like no bowling practice for me tomorrow with all this snow. Even though I have 4WD I don't like driving in this mess unless it's really necessary.

I spent two years in Cleveland and we sure had snow. Average about 90 inches per year. That was back in the early '60s.

Got five inches last night, just north of Charlotte, NC.

3ish inches here, luckily Mike Shady made it down from Erie. Some people were driving in from MD that had to cancel.

Joe, that must cool being able to drill your own balls at home.
