Where is the Pro Shop
you visit down there?
I have bowled at the Jamestown Bowling Company lanes (lanes just past a strip mall with a great bakery) and Fountain Bowl (if I have my names right). JBC is a much better house IMO. I am usually there during the summer, and oil is at a premium in the houses. I will have to try to get up there more often. Too bad I was not coming up soon, or I would be more than glad to schedule some lessons with all of you.
Recently published good books I have found are by John Jowdy, and another book I liked (older) is by Mike Durbin - Gutterballs to Strikes
. There is also Par Bowling
by Tom Kuros for another good one.
Feel free to drop me an email if you want to discuss things further. Always good to find bowlers in the Jamestown area as I am always bowling alone when visiting.
