Most clothing retail stores have shirts for sale that can be used, just so long as you don't have the logo i.e. FILA on it. Your Pro Shop may have them as well. The one that I frequent now, sells and embroiders them.

igoose5, my Pro Shop has catalogues to order from. Many styles and colors. We order team shirts for Nationals that way too. Lettering is a per letter addition. The shirts average between $30-40.

Try your Pro Shop.

Sorry if I'm hijacking, but I thought this might be relevant:

If a name shirt is required can't you just use a regular polo shirt and buy some letters and sew them, plus the appropriate patches, on by yourself or get a friend to do it? Looks like what Anthony LaCaze did when he made a show last season and after getting fined for bowling without a name shirt.

Unless you want it like some of those PBA players (Williams, Fagan, Malott, Bohn, Loschetter, etc) who somehow can stitch their signatures onto their shirts... how do you do that?

If I'm bowling the provincial scholarships later this season (it's the weekend before IB exams, and involves traveling, so I might not) I might get a name shirt, and if I do I'll definitely go the cheap way. The hardest thing in that case would be obtaining the patches for my bowling center and its sponsors (I do have a shirt with the bowling center logo but I don't want to use it since I wear it for league).

If your ABT branch is like the one in Philly, and was in DC, champions get a shirt along with their prize winnings. So, the ABT stocks quite a few shirts. If you speak to the local tournament director, or one of the staff, they should be able to have one made up for you.

If you decide to shop for yourself, note that the shirt has to have a collar. Also note that you can bowl in up to 2 tournaments before you are required to have a shirt with your name on it. It usually takes a week or two for the embroidery. But, you should be able to bowl in the meantime.

Welcome to the forum and best of luck in your tournament efforts. I enjoyed bowling ABT in the DC area until the branch folded.

Good deal. Now if you want your signature on shirts Most embroidery shops use computer controlled sewing machines, they scan your sig in re size it the sew it on the back of your shirt.
