Joe, I actually dropped to a 228.7 now which is a little more manageable for me, albeit its still a little high. I have been as high as 213 for a book, this is my 4th fall league season in my bowling career. I started bowling in the 05-06 fall season.

You are doing great. When I was in my 4th year of bowling, the internet was not invented yet.

Internet was not invented???

That's because Al Gore invented it in 1989.

Dennis, you probably remember when bowlers kept score with a pencil and notepad. Telescores were an innovation. There was no BowlSK.com. Heck, cgeorge wasn't even born yet.

Drilled up my Siege last Friday. Could only bowl on it on house shots till today when, with perfect timing, I got to bowl on the shark on my JOG league. Went +2 for 4 games. I was playing 11 to 10/9 all four games. First game was a 200, with makeable opens in the 1st, 9th, and 10th. Next game was a 208 with one easy open. Third game I was missing pocket a lot, so I tried play up 9. I went nut, 2-10, washout and moved back. When I was playing the old line, when I missed I still left easy spares. Missed those two spares and finished out for 180. Last game was the same old, but I realized in the 6th that if I get a good amount of side roll, the ball will just wheel back forever. Games went 200, 208, 180, 214. Every week 31 and 32 have been my worst game.

Whoever said that the Cheetah is a horrible shot and you need to buy a new ball to do well on it is kind of how I feel on the shark. Buying the siege and drilling it up to where it is "retardedly strong" makes the shot incredibly easier. I guess that's the difference between a rev dominant bowler and a speed dominant bowler.

Tonight, I started off rough again Through the nose splits missing make-able spares moved all over the place. Changed balls no help, then in the eighth frame looked down and noticed I was about a foot from the foul line.

Moved up a foot from where I was starting and flush strikes 9th 10th end with a 140, thank God our anchor bowler shot a 279 and picked me up.

2nd game 204 with 2 splits one wasn't a split at first but a pin was sliding and just stood up every body but me got a kick out of that.

3rd game was clean 217 which was lucky helped me return the favor to our anchor bowler who struggled to get 185 he is a 225 avg bowler.

We ended up winning all 3, so were at least still in third place.

Good night tonight. Came out of the gate with 12 strikes: 300 (my fourth sanctioned perfecto). Lost a little focus after the strong start as well as some carry. 300-169-192---661. Low man on the team as my teammates picked me up in the second and third game. We shot a 3501 in winning all seven points. Started with a Lane Masters Legends Black Diamond, stacked leverage at 1,000 grit on a long medium/heavy THS. Switched to a Complete NV in the secong game in an attempt to retain more energy. 4 10-pins, 2 9-pins and 1 4-9 later, I finally switched to a Lane Masters Buzz (4,000 grit abralon, drilled 4 1/2" x 4 1/2") and had a good look late in the third game. 23 strikes, 30 of 35 balls around the pocket but missed a 10-pin, two 9-pins and a 4-9 split, and cherried a 3-6. Five opens in two games: too many!

Congratulations on the 300! Be sure to add a note to the Honor Scores 2009/2010 thread.
