Lots of bowlers keep lucky charms and sometimes some very strange items in their bowling bags. What is the weirdest thing you keep in your bowling bag or wont go bowling without?

I keep four large decks (approx 2.5 times the size) of playing cards in my bag. If I start a "big" (meaning league-wide - pun intended) game, I am almost assured of getting these cards back. These cards get the best reaction from people whohave never seen them before! (Right, Lisa and Gayle?)

I guess the strangest thing in mine is a price club size advil and bengay.

I knew a guy that kept his belt buckle and dog tags from Korea in his bag. He said it brought him good luck.

I keep a Krusty The Clown keychain on the zipper of my bowling bag. I also make sure I always have my lucky wheat penny with me when I go to the lanes.

One of my friends sneaks his pomeranian (a very small dog) in a bag that looks like a bowling bag but it has vent holes and a screen window that is hidden under a flap. He places the bag on the counter behind our lane and opens the flap. The dog quietly sits in there watching us bowl and no one that works at the center has any idea.

The only thing I would classify as "unusual" in my bag is my No Whining sign. A small, white, square-shaped metal sign with the word "whining" in black caps and a red circle with a diagonal line shashing it out.

It's been used on occasion...

I think it was at one of those off-the-wall mall novelty shops...I wish I could remember exactly.

Of course, having the sign presupposes you follow the "no whining" guidelines!

Well, I thought I seen and heard it all until tonight. I learned that someone who bowls in my center keeps a dried cow's hoof in his bag for good luck. Yes it's really a cow's hoof, not a rabit's foot.

I don't know what's so lucky about it. The cow certainly couldn't have been too lucky because his hoof is now in someone's bag.

After several weeks of jokingly asking some bowlers in my Friday night league whether they had a horseshoe in a certin part of their anotomy, I found one sitting on top of my bag on night. Since that night I have had 600 set 5 of 6 nights!!!
