I should have asked this question late last week. My league will be putting out the 2013 PBA Badger pattern for the next 6 weeks. It's 52 feet long and appears to have a heavy volume of oil at least in the middle of the lane.

Almost all of my equipment is asymmetric and have some sort of surface on it.

I have a Global 900 X, which is a smooth rolling ball. It generally like a dry back end. I'm thinking of putting a 500 or 1,000 grit surface on this ball and throwing it up 15 - 18.

What do you guys think? I'll post the results after bowling tonight.
