This works wonderfull! Love having my own spinner. Was wondering if it would be worth $300 up for spinner and I think it is. To have to only pay $35 makes it even sweeter. Totally has paid for itself over and over.
Hey , I've seen this thread before and was intrigued by this setup. Harbor Freight still has the press and is still a good buy at $50. Very tempting.
Since this thread was resurrected I might as well reply to my post. I was tempted and did proceed with this drill press to ball spinner conversion. I bought the equivalent Harbor Freight drill press for $49 and a bowl for $8. Mine is a lot quieter than this one. It will never be up to the standards of a spinner offered by various manufacturers but for less than $60 it gets the job done when I need a quick surface change.
