Focusing on keeping the ring finger behind the ball and extending it towards the target. It's used by quite a few certified coaches, and I believe it was mentioned either on this thread or another similar one that John Jowdy is credited with this practice. I have used it, and to change my ball roll a little, I've focused on the middle finger, too. Doing that gets my ring finger a little further inside, giving me a little more end over end roll.
