I'm bowling in a PBA Experience league for the first time this summer. I have practiced a bit on some of those lane patterns before, but it hasn't been often. Last time I bowled on Shark was a year ago (and only a few games), so I struggled mightily in the league since that's what we started on. I got a 137 average. After that I practiced four games on it so I could find something and got a 179 average. I should be able to average around that for the whole league, but I just have to learn to play the right shot. A few weeks isn't much time to do that.
