I still have four or five weeks left in my fall league, and I'm still debating whether I want to bowl over the summer. Two months ago I was bowling great, close to averaging 210 for the season, and quite happy with that. Then it came crashing and burning down, and has left me with the feeling that I just want to take a break.
BUT
I've been invited to bowl a scratch sport league on the USBC National team pattern with a group of very high caliber players who I could really learn a lot from. Not to mention I think it would be a good introduction to sport bowling as this year's team pattern doesn't appear all that difficult (compared to other sport patterns) and I like the idea of bowling 13 weeks on the same pattern, rather than changing every other week.
We'll see what happens.
