Yeah I get to deal with 10-20 more inches possibly over the next couple days. But hey the weekend is looking clear and I might be able to bowl league for the first time in three weeks.

Went with the Storm Fast. From what i have read it seems to be the better ball for my situation. I placed the order with Bowlingball.com about 4 hours ago! Woot! Anything i should know before i find/have a local pro shop drill it?

I am looking into a ball for the top of my arsenal...something for the fresh college shots I'm dealing with. I have a Dimension at 1000 abralon that i currently use...this ball rolls alot and is very very smooth arcing. I like how the Virtual Gravity

that was exactly my plan. i have a small friday night league and the guy that used to run the eliminator doesn't do it anymore so I am thinking about getting into starting one up...did you do 5 bucks a man?

If the degree of the oval is off it can cause the thumb not to come out correctly which will cause it to hang up, or force you to alter your release in order to get out of it. That is not advisable. Round thumb holes won't cause more sticking unles

I have the same problem not being able to find a good driller. Mine put the right size inserts in. But he put them in the wrong holes.

I like the virtual Energy. I have it drilled aggressive and it hooks. I would say it performs well on medium to heavy. I think its a very good ball. It hits hard. Its a very solid ball.

I'm a lefty and I've thrown backup balls at 7's, so a righty can throw backup at the ten. Doesn't work for everybody, but imo you're still better off going cross lane at corner pins.

My week actually went decent for once. Monday league I shot 279-233-220 for a 722. Friday I shot 224-268-242 for a 734. Finally shooting a few decent sets. Time to bowl again tonight so hopefully I can continue the hot hand.

Opening the drilling angle more than the VAL angle (which gets the MB out of the strongest position) would be a good idea, yes.

I have a groove urethane the dark blue, it doesn't hook at all, and doesn't seem to track up like plastic balls do. I did have a T-zone but it tracked up after a short time and started hooking.

I have been coaching highschool age bowlers for years. The best thing anyone can learn for shooting spares is how to throw the ball straight. Start by showing them how to position their hands by having the pinky spread and the index finger pulled in

What are the benefits on holding the ball close to your body at your stance? Could it help delay timing and help you get more in time if your early like I am? Right now I hold the ball straight in front of me with both hands holding the ball.. Kin

Are you hooking the ball? If so I have a feeling you aren't playing the lanes right. It sounds like you are throwing straight down the third arrow and the ball doesn't hook enough when you stand on 21 and when you stand on 19 you've changed the angle
