Jump to new posts Rough Comparisons of Storm & Roto Grip balls by SteveH @ Today at 04:33 PM

I have my tech specs for various balls from the Storm family. I know some are somewhat similar, but Storm seems to have a different reaction all their own. Contemplating another Roto Grip Wrecker, and was trying to match it up with a Storm ball as

The reason for my negative mood, was that in each game, just coming near my average would have won four points for my league team. We ended up losing three, and instead of second place, we are now in fifth. I don't mind losing the games as much as

I shot a 265-176-201 for a 642 series. Missed some easier spares and should've made a ball change instead of sticking with the iQ.

USBC training center has Bowl Score, a mechanical device which lifts a ball up a ramp, and releases it at a measured angle into the pins. The measurements show that 6% degree of entry is optimal, but hardly anyone has that type of angle. Some that

The Defiant was a very good ball, so I wouldn't steer you away from it, but the Hyper Cell Has the same coverstock, and in my opinion, a much better core. I think its one of the best balls out there for heavier volumes.

Another nice set Vdub! I came to the same result as you - top 2 in the record book? Let's hope the result is better than last time though since we only won 3 pts in week 2 in spite of the great set. This one is more balanced game-to-game so we'll

yea I was executing and posting well. hit my mark every time on strike balls. shot was pretty much down and in at 10. I like a loose fitting thumb on my spare ball and it was tight. any time you have a spare ball that hangs you got problems.

Getting water in the holes won't do any harm. Just let the ball dry. Water evaporates. I've put most of my shiny stuff on my spinner and sanded them for 15 seconds on each side with a 4000 pad. It cuts down on the over under reaction you get when you
