The biggest reasons I would choose not to bowl at certain centers are either bad customer service and very terrible maintenance. Thats not too much to ask for is it? It can have a tougher shot, some older equipment, but at least try to have some you

I once saw a guy bowl with a broken ankle on his slide foot and medical walking boot on. He just stood at the line let the ball swing and then tried to lower himself down on his good leg so he didn't loft the ball much. He didn't have a lot of speed

If you join a sanctioned USBC league then there is a fee that is extra, and rules to basically govern the leagues as well as some insurance against your league's prize fund. Beware.....if you quit, you are liable to give written two week notice.

If you have an old couch or chair you might practice tossing the ball into the chair while attempting to put right-to-left revs on the ball. If you don't have colored inserts put a piece of tape on your ball track to see in which direction the ball i

Rolling over a mark that you know won't strike, with a strike ball and release, might be a good way to practice as well. Since you are not trying to strike, you should take some pressure off yourself. You can still work on accuracy, having a good c
