I just don't see the VE on heavier and longer patterns, like the shark or scorpion. They seem to work best on the shoter patterns which gives you some back end room like a THS.

I haven't heard anything about anything like that in my area but I've only been bowling in one center the past couple of years, so I don't hear and see as much as I once did. If I did hear about one I might have to give it a go.

What I found interesting was that with the straighter release, the ball read enough in the oil that the breakpoint occurred very close to the 39 foot line, probably around 42 feet. With the stronger release, being more in the oil, the breakpoint app

Quote:Joe, 2mph is a pretty slow approach. Agreed. There is definitely room for improvement there. It's not so much generating the foot speed. Comfortable walking speed on the treadmill is typically in the 3.5 to 4 mph range. It's the stopping wi

Have you seen Dino Castillo bowl? That guy has, as Erin would say, a lot of style points. It has probably caught up with him. When you have that much going on in your game, it is hard to maintain the level of repetition required to perform every s

In my Friday night league I bowled 178, 182, 192 for a 552 series. That beats my previous lifetime best of 540. Our team won all 3 games. After 3 years of bowling I decided that I needed to practice more. So for the last few weeks I've practiced 2

Just a little perspective on the Invasion. I debated getting this ball as well - thinking it would be too strong for THS and depending on what house it is I think it would be in some houses that are bone dry. However when I finally bought one I was p

Ok, my team in my real-life league needs a good showing tomorrow to set ourselves up for the playoffs... currently we're not that far off the top so with a good series we might have a chance.
